Jane grew up on a dairy farm in northern Vermont and has been involved with animals all her life. She fell in love with horses and has had them since she was five years old. Jane has an associates degree in Horse Husbandry and Horticulture from Morrisville College. In 2006 Jane received her certification in Equine Natural Movement Series.

Jane donates her professional Equine Natural Movement services to Central New England Equine Rescue and has also volunteered for Bay State Equine Rescue. She is a member and officer of Barre Riding and Driving Club. She is also a member of New England Horse & Trail and MASOOI Mounted Search and Rescue, where she is in training with her horse Maverick to search for missing or lost victims. Jane owns two horses, Grace a retired Thoroughbred race horse who is now a pasture pal and Maverick, who Jane helped rescue from near starvation.

Jane's work has a quiet sensitivity and deep compassion that the horses appreciate. Jane makes her practice in Central New England, with a concentration in the Central Massachusetts area.

Testimonials

During the spring and summer our polo horses are in either fitness training or playing polo, six days a week. Equine Natural Movement helps relieve any stiffness and soreness, and is amazingly relaxing for the horse. They actually enjoy the sessions, and sometimes become so relaxed they doze off!! Jane, my Equine Natural Movement practitioner, is very skillful, professional, and has an obvious bond with the horses. I would recommend Equine Natural Movement on a regular basis for all horses no matter what their discipline.
